The sweet itch rug covers the horse on most places so it will protect the horse from mosquito stings. This means there will be less change on the arising of sweet itch. The rug has to be worn 24-hours a day except during riding. Next to the protection from insects the rug also protects from sunshine. The rug has a perfect fit, because of the elastic parts, and gives a full freedom of movement. The sweet itch rug is antibacterial, reduces odours and prevents further irritation of the skin. Material: 69% polyamide/ 21% polyester/ 10% Lycra, machine washable at 30º C. Matches the BR sweet itch hood, article 375002.
